Admissions Process
Thank you for your interest in the Ursuline Preparatory School, Wimbledon, a Roman Catholic Independent Preparatory School for girls aged 4 -11, with a coeducational Ursuline Pre-School provision, that welcomes children of all faiths and none, in the belief that our Ursuline ethos will be of benefit to all.

Personal Tours
Deciding the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions a parent has to make. In addition to, or if you cannot make an Open Event, we invite parents to visit us for a meeting and tour with the Head Teacher, Mrs Caroline Molina.

The Admissions Process
The Ursuline Preparatory School, Wimbledon, is a Roman Catholic school that also welcomes children of all religion and none. We are a strictly non-selective school and places are offered on a date of registration basis, with those registering earliest being offered first. Siblings are given priority. Most children enter at either Nursery or Reception Class stage, but occasional places are available in other years through the usual coming and going in the local area.
RECEPTION
After the Pre-School Class, the Ursuline Prep is a school for girls only. Entry to the Reception Class takes place in the September after your daughter’s 4th birthday.
We expect all our Pre-School girls to transition to the Reception class, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Applications can be made at any time and places are released on a date of registration basis.
OTHER YEARS
Places after Reception Class are given on the availability of places and allocate according to the date of registration.

Aside from the strong academic offering, the School’s community is what sets it apart for us. The parent body is engaged, friendly and active. The teachers really care and go out of their way to help, and the children form strong, lasting friendships.
When we have faced issues outside of school – a house move or a bereavement etc. – the staff and parent body have always done as much as they can to make it easier for us and make sure our daughters are fully supported.
